Southwest Camp

Southwest Camp 2025

Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime at Southwest Camp in the beautiful Prescott National Forest, Arizona! Surrounded by towering pines at 6,500 feet, our camp offers fantastic weather - sunny days and cool nights.

At United Youth Camps, our mission is to guide young hearts toward their Creator through every moment of camp. Each day kicks off with a Christian living class, setting the tone for everything that follows. As we dive into activities, we focus on living out God's principles, helping campers grow in their faith while having fun and building lifelong memories.

Horseback riding is a highlight of Southwest Camp, with thrilling rides through scenic trails. But the fun doesn't stop there - enjoy archery, volleyball, mountain biking, arts and crafts, and a challenging escape room. Off-site, you'll experience kayaking and paddle boarding at a nearby lake.

The heart of Southwest Camp is all about deepening connections - both with God and with each other. Every activity is designed to highlight the importance of these relationships in our lives. Evenings bring everyone together for pickup games of volleyball, speedaway, gaga ball, lawn games and dancing. We come together as a camp family around the campfire each evening, continuing to grow in relationships, share biblical teachings and enjoy plenty of laughs. To close out the camp experience, we celebrate with a formal banquet and dance, a special evening where campers and staff unite for one last night of conversation, joy and unforgettable memories.

Southwest Camp is located about 10 minutes outside of Prescott, Arizona on Senator Highway (approximately two hours from Phoenix). For those flying into PHX, we will arrange free transportation to/from camp. Please do not schedule any departure flights from camp before 11:30 a.m. Prescott is served by a smaller regional airport that United and Boutique Air serves, so connecting flights from Phoenix are available if it works for you. Flights to camp should arrive in Phoenix between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
