Camp Tomahawk

Welcome Campers and Staff!

2012 is shaping up to be another year of fun - learning about God's way with our preteens, in an encouraging environment for young and old alike. Camp Tomahawk is held in the Nathan Bedford Forrest, and we will again be utilitizing the dorms and group lodge facility in this nice state park, located in Eva, Tennessee (2 hours west of Nashville). Many parents, older siblings, grandparents and church friends enjoy spending time with each other as we teach the kids and each other what God's way really means. We swim with each other in the lazy river (a huge favorite with the kids), go on nature walks, play field games, and even dress up at themed dinners every night.

Here are the details that you will need to know for attending:

  • Ages: 6-12 boys and girls
  • Camp Dates: Check-in is Sunday July 15th, and check-out and family dinner is Wednesday July 18th. (Staff needs to be there Saturday evening, July 14th for orientation, and can stay until Thursday 19th)
  • Fees: Campers $140, Teen Staff $110 (age 13-17), Adult Staff $60 (age 18+)
  • Application Due Dates: May 1st, 2012 (Application forms are here)
  • Location: 1825 Pilot Knob Road, Eva, TN - once in the park, follow signs for the 'Lodge' and 'Camp Tomahawk'

On behalf of the Tomahawk Team, we look forward to seeing you in July. In the mean time, Melissa Puckett is fielding all questions and applications - she can be reached at mkpuckett4@gmail.com if the website or the FAQ does not cover your question.
